£30-60 depending on condition. The simple answer is always "what someone is prepared to pay for it" - I've seen programmes worth £10 go for £50 and vice versa - depends how rare they are. £30-60 is about the right range for these.

I think you'd be doing well to get the Aalborg one for £60. It was a £100 programme but a few have appeared on Ebay recently and the going rate seems to be more like £70 - £80 now.

There is a certain ebayer that has been selling reprints of the Aalborg programme over the last few years, he seems to have an endless supply of them and one appears after every couple of months.

There's a cowboy RS (I think his profile said he was/is a Red) that's selling quite a few copies (one at a time you'll note) of the 1950 Cup Semi - Everton v RS. Funny how he's got so many pristine copies - I understand this was reprinted and there are differences between the 2 versions. In any event to get a pristine copy of this programme would be quite an achievement and I'd steer well clear of this item! TD

How do you tell a reprint from an original like in the case ofthe Aalborg programme?Cheers Pete Not sure but perfect condition is interesting... hard to fake matchday smudges which look 40 year old. In the case of the reprint (Everton/Liverpool 1950) they are different from the original. Suppose it's always possible to: a) scan a perfect original and make copies b) contact the original printers and ask for new copies (if they still had the templates but most unlikely for such an old item in the pre-computer age. The 1950 reprint is on glossier paper than the original.
