I really can't see this one being a sell out to be honest.
We'll be lucky to get 25,000 there i think.
I'm definately going as I would'nt miss a European home match for the world.

To be honest the UEFA Cup isn't what it used to be years ago.
You only really start to get the big attendances once you get to the Quarter Finals.
I will put my neck on the line here and say we won't get over 30,000 until we get to the Quarter's. (If we get there!)

well... i can see there being more than 30,000. there was 23,000 against bucharest and we were 5-1 down. it was our 2nd european game at home that season but i think lots of people are looking forward to our first european game this season. i agree it deffo wont be a full house but i've been urging all my mates to go who dont usually go the game to give the blues some support. should be a great atmosphere none the less and i cant wait!

21,843 was the official attendance I think the only reason that many people went were because they all wanted to get behind the team and hopefully see a miracle comeback. With this being the first leg I think we should get around the same number again. Hopefully more will come and we can have over 30,00 as when Goodison is over 30,000 and the atmosphere gets going there is no place quite like it.

We didnt even get good attendances in our run up to the Cup Winners Cup Final, UCD, Bratislava and Sittard were all poorly attended. Only the Bayern Munich game generated a big attendance.
Dont know what it is with us we have this goal about getting into Europe every year and when we do we cant sell out unlike our friends across the park. It begs the question what will it be like in a bigger stadium ??

Maybe 6,000 - 7,000 evertonia members and a few hundred seats that have to be given up for UEFA advertising?

Maybe 6,000 - 7,000 evertonia members and a few hundred seats that have to be given up for UEFA advertising? You could be right there. Not forgetting the 14 who will travel from the Ukraine and need all of the corner of the Lower Bullens to stretch out - thereby reducing the number of available tickets by a couple of thousand. TD
