I went the Boro match on Boxing Day, but didn't get a programme as we got there late so I just rushed straight into the gound, so I've just bid on the programme on ebay.
According to the listing, the seller states that Boro issue two programmes for each game, both the same apart from the front cover. The match with us has a front cover - one with Alliadiere, and one with Brad Jones.
Did anyone know Boro done this? And if so, how long have they been doing it for? Does anyone know of any other clubs who do this?

Yeah I seen that same thing too matey.
Bit weird why they do that but I suppose that if your going to be collecting the away games you'll need to get both of those as they are both 'official' copies.
I wonder if any team has ever done this before?

Nice one for the info mate, and I know, I wouldn't fancy paying £6 every home game for 2 programmes!

Bit awkward this - I never really bothered with these duplicates too much (like "The Match") .. but I recently bought the Barnsley '63 FA Cup (away) game as I found it had an alternative cover.
It's a bit rich to expect (some) fans to shell out 2x the going rate to get a different cover.

There was an article in the prog advertising the fact that they were doing this for every match. Very strange! I did not read the programme until the following day, when of course I was the best part of 300 miles away from Boro. It is hard to work out the logic in this. I can't see may Boro fans stumping up for two progs each home match. The ebay experience is probably mirrored by opposition fans for every match at the Riverside.
